A question about EPG update

I just bought a pvr350 and installed gb pvr and so far I love it. Very stable and no problems of any kind.

I do have a few questions about EPG update though. In reading through the forums I have read comments about having to empty the EPG before updating. Is this correct even for the newest version?

Also, does the 'Automatic EPG update" do this automatically- empty the old one and install the new one?

No you dont need to empty the EPG before updating it. You've never had to do this, even since the very first version.

The only time I've ever advised people to use the "Empty EPG" button is when they've managed to get some crap EPG data into GB-PVR (usually they've selected the wrong timezone).
