help recording live tv

Ok the program works great, and I can watch tv perfectly. The auto recorder also works great as well. THe only problem im having is when i try to record live tv when i go to exit the program just stops responding. any ideas?

what type of capture devices are you using?

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

if you are watching live tv and hit the record button...it will end recording if you stop watching that program..[at least it has always worked for me this way]
easiest way is to exit out of live-tv and record it from the tv guide and then go back to watching...[if i'm understanding you correctly]
otherwise you'll have to let it play thru...

Correct, but it shouldnt cause GB-PVR to stop responding like he indicated in his post.

not sure what happened, i reinstalled and redid all the settings and it seems to work fine now.
