I'd like to burn some of the stuff I record onto DVDs that will play in a normal DVD player. Anyone have any advice on some good DVD authoring tools? I don't particularly want to automate from inside GB-PVR, just be able to easily set up a DVD and burn it. Something with a drag-and-drop interface preferably. Doesn't have to be fancy. I've played with DVDAuthor a little and it works OK but isn't all that easy to use. I also ran across this one:
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/conv...to_dvd.php
that seems to work pretty well. There are scads of them out there, just wondering if anyone here has any favorites (or ones to avoid).

Oh yeah...price of less than $50 is preferable...

Thanks...

As good as any is Ulead (the one that comes with Hauppauge cards), although limited.
I use DVDLab Pro exclusively, but it's out of your price range Big Grin
You can never have enough tuners!

My most used one is TMPGEnc DVD Author. It is not fancy, and only cuts at i-frames, but leaves compliant mpegs alone. It does motion menus OK also.
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
