I have the 350 and am trying to use it to grab images from a camcorder.
Set up is:
composite out from the camcorder
s-video to composite adapter
hooked to s-video-in on the 350
issue 1:
even in WinTV 2000, with source set to svideo 1 input, black screen on the TV for output
question 1: This should work, right? The adapter I am using, it's a little cable adapter, I *know* it worked when I used it for s-video out from the 350 to composite in on my VCR. It should also work for the reverse, (right?) composite out from the camcorder to s-video in on the 350?
Issue 2/question 2: I'm not totally sure how to config gbpvr for s-video source on the 350. AND, even if I could, how to I take a snapshot of what is on the TV-out?
Thanks for help with either. This would be easier if I hadn't left behind the install CD without which, I cna't offload video from the camcorder to XP, as camcorder drivers are not online (thanks bunches Sony) and if I hadn't left behind the darn *firewire* cable to offload the video natively to my OS X laptop (grrrr.). smooth evening, here.
I thought I could patch together a solution with the 350; but it is also resisting.
Thanks;
