No Channels

I just recieved a WinTV 250 MCE and gbpvr.com isnt working for me so I cant even try it yet Sad

EDIT: I finally got it hooked up to cable but all my channels are very staticy and bad looking could it just be my cable?

It could be. Try installing the hauppauge software from their site and see if you can get it going with their own software first.

Did you install a splitter, and hook up your cable to both your pvr250 and your TV? In such case you introduce a bad signal, if you don't use a good splitter (with a built in signal booster).

Yeah we have 2 splitters and Im not sure if they are signal boosted, and I know that if we added one more tv we needed a amplifier, I also have a pretty long cord going from the wall to my computer.
