Just upgraded to 96.12 from a 95.xx version. I've been using linked tables from gbpvr.mdb to a local MSDE instance for several months.

I seem to have lost my PVR-150 in the config. Each time I try to add it, the Settings dialog for the capture source blows up. No error message is reported there.

I'm getting the following error in the log:

4/1/2006 3:22:54 PM.228 ERROR [12] Error int SourceConfigurationContainer::LoadAll(): System.IndexOutOfRangeException: parent_oid
at System.Data.Common.FieldNameLookup.GetOrdinal(String fieldName)

I'd say your bug is in there somewhere.

Okay, so how would I go about fixing the problem? It happens using the gbpvr.mdb that was in place before and after the install, and like I said, it's been working for months in the current setup.

Why would it lose my capture card & EPG settings?
Were any field changes made for 96.12?

parent_oid was added to the CAPTURE_SOURCE table in v0.96.8. It sounds like your database doesnt have this.

Do you have a DDL stmt that I could use to fix it? Or just a field def (data type, NOT NULL, default value)? Is there any population of values for existing records?

You should have an upgrade.sql.done or something like that in your gbpvr directory. The last three or four statements in this file apply to the v0.96 release.

I took the upgrade.sql file and worked through it a line or two at a time. Got through it and all's well.
