I have three open issues I'm working. Hopefully someone out there can assist. 1st my config. I have a PVR-350 card, I'm using an ATI Radeon 7000 card for my s-vid output to my TV with the WMR7 codec. (I wanted to be able to play over video formats (other than MPEG2))
My 1st problem - After about 10-15 minutes of innactivity (sitting at main GBPVR menu) my ATI card drops the video signal to the s-vid connection. I can restore the video by simply hitting my mouse (Which is annoying since this box is in my AV cabinet). I checked and hybernation is not enabled. The video comes right back when you hit the mouse so it's just dropping the signal for some reason. I DO have the GBPVR screen saver set and it does come on after 2 mins. I tested this out today and also found that if I'm watching live TV it DOESN"T drop the signal, so it's only when I'm sitting at one of the menus. Anyone have any ideas?
2nd problem - Some recordings and LiveTV seem to have little spots (kinda like stuck pixels on an LCD screen) all over the screen. I didn't see this when I used the pvr-350 S-Vid output. Is this normal? Can I get rid of them?
3rd problem - Not a big deal... When I watch LiveTV (Never really do this), the playback is a little choppy. Again I don't really use tihs box to watch live TV, so this is'nt critical, but I'm figureing it's all related so....
thanks all.
