Deleting and returing to list

I have noticed behavious in all lists when deleting from lists (pending recordings, recordings) and the program returns to the list it always goes to the top of the list, not in the same location (-1) of where I was. When maintaining a long list of pending recordings or my recordings this can pose a difficult challenge to scroll back to the previous location and resume my inspection of the lists.

Any ideas?
