Importing recordings when directory changes

A week or so ago I changed the drive setting for my recordings. All existing recordings vanished from my recordings option.

I physically moved the files and they would not come back.

Is there any easy way to reattach them as recordings, or have the programme details now been lost and they should be considered 'videos' and placed in this directory?

These details will be gone now, so will just have to been treated as video files.
