Hey Guys,
I need some quick help. I just want to transcode a divx to mpeg 2 using TMPG Xpress, I tried it once but after it was done the video playback was jumpy and jittery and the audio was a little behind. There was a lot of wierd settings that I didn't know what to set on TMPG and I was wondering if you knew what to set it as.
Xvid file original settings:
608x336 pixels
Framerate: 23 fps
Data Rate: 141 kbps
Video sample size: 24 bit
Settings In TMPG(that im uncertain about):
First Screen (Set Source)
Video Mode: Progressive (default) or Interlaced
Aspect Ratio: bunch of different ones
Second Screen (Set Output)
Size:Blank Pixel by blank pixel (what should these be?)
Aspect Ratio (again): 16x9 Im guessing?
Framerate:29.97? 23? 25? etc
Video System: NTSC? PAL? I live in the USA
DC Component Compression: left at 8 bit
Im not sure if im suppose to retain the size and format of the xvid file or if im suppose to change it to my liking. Thanks again
