I have had 2 instances now where my recordings cut out before they are completed. they are listed in the EPG as 1 hour and 3 hrs, but only recorded ~40 min and ~240 respectivly. I use NTFS for file system so that shouldnt be a problem. the 3 hour movie was around 7GB when it was complete but the 1 hour show wouldnt have been that big.

any suggestions? thanks! i dont get any error when this happens though. also every other show records fine.

It could be that they were recorded fully, but that the timestamps became corrupt (for some reason). That would confuse the decoders. You can try "fixing" timetamp errors with PVAstrumento (or any other utility of your choice, but PVA is free)...
