Since people have also seen it only running the weather plug-in, I think it may be related to commongbpvrutilities.dll. However I have not seen any errors logged to say what it was (oher than the event by Windows) and once you ignore the error things seem to run fine.

Sub, any chance that you could install the weather plug-in on your machine and see if it generates this error after a while?

I'm a bit busy today, but if you bump this thread tomorrow to remind me, then I'll do it.

I am running both the weather and VA. I emptied the plugin folder as soon as I had problems. I got it working with VA then added in weather without any additional problems.

So the DW20 errors have stopped for you, or did you just turn off the reporting of them as descibed earlier in the thread?

VA was crashing GB-PVR horribly as well. (JIT debug error blah blah blah)

Without it, I have not yet had a problem, and I had no problems until I installed it for skinning review.

The weather plugin for me is the GB-PVR "Killer App". The one non-standard plugin that is a "must have" for meCool . Thanks for this plugin, and I appreciate the efforts you put into it. Not alot of praise is given for this plugin, but you sure hear about it if it is acting up.

With VA, if I wasn't going to be away from my GB-PVR pc for a day and a half, I would gladly help debug.

Just thought I would chip in this useless bit of info to give a wider user base for known issues.

(Edit: Also this computer has just about every plugin installed for skinning purposes, so that may need to be considered as well.)

I turned off the error reporting program, but told it to tell me if I had a problem. That is an option you have when you disable the error reporting. It has not told me anything since, nor have I had any lockups. It is almost like something besides a crash is causing the DW20.exe programs to launch. Once they launch, they in turn may cause the crash since they are using all of the resources. Once I told them not to launch, the crashes stopped. That is just a wild guess on my part and I have no idea how any of this is programmed. Does that make any sense?
