Its sounds like you've got it set to use the wrong source (composite/composite2/composite3/svideo/svideo2). Try some others.

Sorry for delay; don't give up on me! Just trying to get rid of the channels I don't need from the EPG data so they don't show up on the 'TV screen'. Nearly finished.

Oh dear. I've tried all the sources with no luck.

Is there anything else you can think of, sub?
I can watch TV in WinTV2000 no problem. But GB-PVR is having none of it. I can see that you do what you can, replying amazingly quickly a lot of the time, but there comes a point with many cases where you haven't got the thing in front of you - and there's only a half-wit at the other end - where you just have to move on. But if you can give me any pointer - even lateral - to another solution to getting a pvr to work with my freeview box and my pvr-350, I'm still here and I'll be ever so grateful! PS: Any idea why my mpg files recorded directly from wintv2000 won't play in WMP or Winamp?

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]PS: Any idea why my mpg files recorded directly from wintv2000 won't play in WMP or Winamp? This maybe related to your problem. My files recorded with GB-PVR or WinTV2000 work fine in WMP. Windows Media Player and GB-PVR both use the same MPEG2 decoder filters for playing back MPEG2 files. In this case its sounding like neither GB-PVR or WMP are using these filters for some reason.

Sub, I've been trying my hardest to see what I might change. I can't really see where there is a setting for MPEG2 filters.
I found this in HCWlog.txt... 22:48:33:046 - DShow ERROR VideoMixing Renderer Failed SetRenderingMode() -- The operation could not be performed because the filter is in the wrong state. Any more hints for me?

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Any more hints for me?No, not really. Start GB-PVR and try to view LiveTV, then send me your log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com. This may contain some clues.

I've got a thing in legacy video capture devices called: "WDM Video For Windowns Capture Driver (Win32)". Don't know what that is?
