I've had problems with my video playback (gbpvr v0.96.12) locking up and/or freezing during replay of recorded shows. This can happen with fast forwarding (rewinding, etc) or right in the middle of play. Sometimes it doesn't freeze/restart the system altogether but subsequent menu navigation takes a long time (requiring a system restart).
I've also found a sample of the error messages in the gbpvr.exe.log (below)
