No Channels found with NOVA-T USB2

I set up the config as instructed in the quickguide. I set BDA devices and chose Hauppauge NOVA-T USB2. I selected Bleb for epg and then went through the mapping process, but no channels were found. I then tried xmltv from radiotimes source, and repeated mapping process with no channels found.
I have been experimenting with other tvplayers such as mediaportal, winfast, wintv2000 and medio. They all worked fine without any problems.

Yes, they install some annoying component that breaks things (MediaPortal Stream Analyzer).

If anyone here has a account on the MediaPortal forums, can you please suggest that they should stop this directshow filter from loading itself into other applications? I'm getting sick of all the reports of this directshow filter breaking GB-PVR. From the next release of GB-PVR I will be deleting the offending DLL from the users machine each time GB-PVR starts. This will break MediaPortal, but will at least stop it inferferring with GB-PVR.
