If you go to ATI's website, they have new drivers that break the live preview function (encoder bypassing) of GBPVR. As far as I can tell everything works but this. It seems they have just changed a couple of pins around, as I was able to make a working graph for it.

There were some Video Renderers that would cause it to stutter every minute or so with the new drivers, but certain renderers would work fine. I cannot tell you which ones as they all say "Video Renderer", but I do know the renderer with 2 input pins stuttured while the two renderers with one pin were fine.

Hope this helps, as I by pass the encoder for playing console video games, and the new drivers seem to be an improvement in other areas to my eyes.

By the way, the new driver is version 6.14.10.173 and is also for the Theater 650 PRO. I know you cannot release a new version overnight, but if you happen to come up with a temporary fix before too long, that would be cool.

Thanks

If you can post a screen shot of the ATI filters in GraphEdit, I'll try to ensure the next build includes a fix.

The "ATI AVStream Analogue Capture" output pins have changed.

The Preview-out pins are missing, but preview-out now appears on the Capture-out pins.

I'm currently at work so can't post a screen shot, but hopefully jamesb can do this.

Ok, here it is.

Ok, notice the Video Renderer has 1 pin. The one that your program tries to use has 2 pins and for some reason drops lots of frames with the new driver. Maybe my computer is messed up, but I don't think so. It worked fine with the old driver.

Thanks for looking at this.

This is the default number of pins with VMR7, which will be the default renderer one your machine.

In GB-PVR you're probably using VMR9, with multiple pins, but only the first pin used.

Oh yeah, your program graph for using the hardware encoder is disconnected with the new drivers, but for some reason still works. Here is a screenshot just in case.

Ok, I've made some changes to support these changes in the next release.
