I have a setup where my TV and computer monitor are in a dualview. I can drag a window back and forth from the TV screen to the monitor. I was wondering if it was possible to have two shortcuts for the same program open on a different monitor? For example, if I click on the shortcut "GBPVR", I want it to open on my computer monitor. If I click on the shortcut "GBPVR 2", I want it to open on my TV screen. Is this possible?

There is an option in the config to launch gbpvr on the second display.

Therefore you could do this by having 2 config.xml files, one of which has been configured to display gbpvr on 2nd monitor.

You then create shortcuts to 2 batch files, that do something like

copy c:\progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\config.1 c:\progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\config.xml
c:\progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe

might work!

There is a muc easier way, use the command line options in the shortcut. Try something like :

GBPVR.exe -noframe -pos:1025,0,720,480

That would shift the window to the right by 1025 pixels and make it 720x480. These are documented in the wiki I think.

I was also having a problem with computer screen and TV:
I'm using ATI x700, DVI + VGA (I'm using the VGA as well because I have an old KVM switch that I use to connect to my other computers) together with composite video out that is connected to my TV.
Using both DVI, VGA and video out, I cannot get the VGA and video out to act as clones of my main DVI output and support the same screen size :-(.
However, I have no problem with seeing video on my TV screen because the video viewers (WMP, MPC, PDVD, WDVD and even the WinTV2K are ALL automatically showing the video on TV in FULL SCREEN MODE!!!!

Example: Whenever WinTV is running/existing it can be minimized, maximized or open on small window on my computer still it would show full screen TV in the other room.

What I wanted here: the TV cannot support the same screen size anymore and ALL I need is to open the GB-PVR window on full screen on TV (regardless the actual size of the window on my computer).
The greatest news is that although I cannot see the computer screen showing normally on the TV screen (I'm not using LCD TV), the window of GB-PVR looks GREAT! (clear enough to use anyway). So in case of GB-PVR, I wanted to be able to see the GB-PVR window (and not it's video only).

Is there any way to do so????? could be great

* don't know if the answer is there or not but searching for -noframe tag on WIKI gave me numerous results that non of them had anything to do with the word -noframe and anyway, in the last days the WIKI pages were down most of the time.

Thank you guys,

Arnon
