How do I keep a Live TV file...

from getting deleted.

I want to keep a show I am watching right now. How do I keep it from getting deleted when it ends? It is being recorded in timeshift mode and I think the whole show is there.

Ok I thought so. Did that. Is there a way to tell if it took the command? Sorry to be such a pain.

If you press the blue key, what colour is the OSD bar?

Well, I am using the H-MVP skin. The OSD looks same as usual with that skin, Green and blue. So the filename doesn't change? What about the status line in the tray icon tool? We got 60 minutes to figure this out.

With the blue skin, the OSD bar goes red to indicate its recording. Tipstir may have just chosen not to do the same.

If you've viewing on your PC (not MVP), then you can just press the red key to switch to video inset mode, then go to the recording screen and check its listed in the 'whats new' section.

Ok, thanks for the help. I think it did take the command, because when I pressed record a second time (duh) it booted out to the main menu and displayed a little error message about something already existing.

In any event I can record this show again in a few days I discovered so no loss, just learned something new though.
