I read in an earlier post (that I cant seem to find now) that I could use the RCA inputs on the tuner card by adding another capture source and pointing it to the inputs on the card, then adding a "fake channel" and call it "VCR" or something like that.
I disconnected my VCR to install the GBPVR box, and want to hook it back up, but have run out of inputs on the TV (also I think the possibility of digitally storing tapes is cool, and also possibly transcoding them to my PSP) and want to be able to view the VCR through the GBPVR box.
here are my questions--
1-
is the above description on how to do it correct??
2-
will viewing the "fake channel" tie up the tuner card totally??
(ie. if I am watching a tape through it, can the tuner still record a show??)
3-
how could I (if possible) put a button on the main menu to immediatly tune to the "fake channel", instead of going to "live TV" and then going to the channel.
