From what I've experinced with windows automatic hibernation/standby I'm was wanting to know some alternatives.
I have a desktop PC with hauppauge pvr150. I have recordings spread out over the day and a few at night. So auto hibernation/standby has never worked since I installed the pvr150 and started using gbpvr. But before that auto hibernate/standby worked occasionally.
I just like the idea of my computer hibernating after a recording because most of the day i'm out doing personal things and I really don't like my computer being on 24/7. I've tried a few alternative programs such as switchOFF, winOFF, and shut down but none of them fit my needs. Although I recall one of them having the option to hibernate after the cpu usage is below a certain point but with the pvr150 I have no increase in the cpu usage.
So any recommendations would be helpful.
