I was having an issue with my SD EPG not updating. After reading a couple posts that indicated making a change to the tuner fixed it, I tried that. No luck. Tried deleting and replacing the tuner in config and now I can't get live tv either. I used the tuning assistant and the card tunes fine. Anyone have any ideas? what information can I post to assist in resolution. As a side note, I loaded NPVR 1.5.21 and it doesn't see my tuners (device setup greyed out). I'll follow up on that one in the right forum, but thought it may help with some insite. This system has been functional through many releases and several years. WinXP Pro SP3, PVR 250/FM and PVR350. Originally just the PVR350.

Go into your capture source settings, hit the 'update epg' button then post the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Thank you Sub. Here is the log. I tried from each of my two capture sources with the same results. I also tried to telnet to 144.142.232.53 port 80 and the connection times out. This is with the firewall, Sunbelt Vipre, on or off. As always, I appreciate your assistance.

Should have tried from another PC before I started troubleshooting. I can connect to the SD server from another PC in the house. I'll dig into it and post the results.

Just for closure on this thread, the issue appears to have been a firmware bug with my DLink DAP2553 WAP. I updated to the latest firmware and the issue was resolved. We'll have to see if it comes back in time. Two issue left with my rebuild on Win7 and I'll post a new thread if I can't find the solutions in the forums. PVR350 IR won't start with the second tuner card in the PC. Can't redirect the vido to the PVR350 S-video connection. One PVR350 and one PVR250. Thanks again for the help.

From memory the IR only works on the card most recently added, so its probably trying to use it on the PVR250. You might need to remove both cards, install the PVR250 first, then shutdown and install the PVR350. Otherwise post the question on the Hauppauge UK forums and I'm sure MrX from there will get you an answer.

Do you mean the TV Out on the PVR350? If so, thats normal. Its specialised video output port and only software specifically designed to work with the PVR350 TV Out will do so. Some of the very old versions of GBPVR did this, but I dropped support for this back in 2005, and it cant be done with the current software. The only other Windows software I'm aware of that had this feature (but was much more limited than GBPVR, with no OSD graphics etc) was old versions of the Hauppauge WinTV software. The current Hauppauge WinTV7 software is not able to use this tv out feature of the PVR350.

This tv out feature was really a dead-end feature that was kill off quickly, and all subsequent Hauppauge TV tuners were input only.
