I tried to install the TV Guide Supercharger. I could not get it to work. I then uninsulated the gbpvr program hopping to return to the original program with only zap2it. When I tried to reinstall only the gbpvr program it will no longer find and recognize my Hauppauge PVR500 cards. Nothing I have tried has worked. I think the registry or program changes I made when trying to install the tv guide supercharger is causing the problems. Unfortunately I do not know how to change them back or even what there original configuration was. Help please.

Nothing in the TVGuide Supercharger package could make a registry change even if it wanted to. Smile
Its a stand-alone "DOS" utility that doesn’t interface with GBPVR, or the windows registry in any way...
To uninstall it, simply delete UpdateEPG.bat from the gbpvr folder, and delete the I-xmltv folder.

Switching back to the native Zap2It plugin is even easier, rename or delete UpdateEPG.bat in the gbpvr folder and select the native zap2it plugin as you originally did when configuring GBPVR.
Sorry, your problem is elsewhere.

Thanks Jim for your response and help. Because I uninstalled the whole program and then tried to reinstall it, the items that you suggest I delete, are no longer there.

I guess my problem now is, the install program not recognizing or finding my Hauggauge PVR500 tuners. Because it doesnt find them the program will not work. I uninsulated and reinstalled the PVR500 card along with the drivers, but still no joy.

Would you have any other suggestions as to how I can get it to find my PVR500?

Hey your welcome, I do feel bad that you went to all the trouble to reload though.
No idea about the tuner detection problem, sub’s the master at supporting his program and I bet he’ll have you up and running again in no time!
If he doesn’t read this post because of the title, start a new one in the support forum.

After your up and running, I’d be glad to help you with any I-xmltv questions if you decide to try it again.

I will do as you suggest. Thanks again for the advice.
