Not to long I was looking at case prices on there and a guy was selling a "new" media center pc. He built it and didn't want it. It was some Celeron system w/ PVR150 and GB-PVR installed. Oh yeah... it was running the new OS "Vista" so it was "future proofed" I think is how he put it.

Here is the same guy... this time it has MCE2005 (No GB-PVR or Vista... shucks!) and an ATI 550 tuner. $1000... you can buy a nice HTPC for that from a reputable source.

My favorite part of the whole auction is how half the pictures are stolen from Silent PC Review!!!

I notice he only charges $9.99 for each item packaged.

what does that mean?
$10 for the card?
$10 for the remote?

I never bid on items that don't have shipping listed in the summary or have a shipping calculator.

I hear ya... It has been a long time since I bought anything on ebay, and from the what people what for shipping, it will probably be a long time too!

Nah! That's old news. Smile

I first came across GB-PVR on eBay back in late 2004 when looking for a Media MVP - a guy that was selling one mentioned he'd been using it with GB-PVR and also included a link to the homepage....

...and people here have been stuck with me ever since then. Big Grin

Cheers,
Brian
