Live TV - Recording / Watching

I'm looking for a way to record something that is current ON LiveTV. The record buton doesn't seem to do anything while I'm watcihng the show (I'll add that to the wishlist) and if I go into "Search Guide" and do a quick record on that show, the show never records. It appears on the Recordings screen as pending but never records. I now have two recordings I tried to record this way and now I that I can't delete them either. The shows are scheduled to record in the past and if I select Cancel, it doesn't delete the schedule.

Hi there,

Could be totally unrelated but I had the same issue last night. Selected a show to record that was currently on. It didn't start recording. Tried deleting it, it won't. Then I noticed the recording service wasn't running, so restarted it, and it started recording, and I was able to delete it.

Not that by any chance?

Yeah I think something blew up. I rebooted the machine yesterday and all the shows showed up as failed or something similar, I was then able to delete them in the pending list.
