Before this feature was added, aspect ratios were properly selected by my Nvidia decoder (I have both 4x3 and 16x9 channels using a wide screen TV). Now 4x3 is streched and I have to use F7 to correct it. Is there a way to disable this feature?

Before the auto aspect ratio was added, it was the the equivalent of leaving it on the 'full' aspect ratio and setting your video decoder to maintain the aspect ratio (rather than anamorphic).

I have always had the decoder to "Content Default". I am now using "fill" as the default GB-PVR AR, but that streches 4x3 to 16x9, it happens when I change channels from 16x9 to 4x3. If I exit and tune back into the 4x3 channel, it does not strech the picture, if I browse to a 16x9 and then back again, the streching comes back. This is only a problem in LiveTV, recordings work fine. Here my AR settings

<AspectRatioModes>
<AspectRatioMode name="Fill" ratio="0,0,1,1" />
<AspectRatioMode name="LetterBox" ratio="0.125,0,0.875,1" />
</AspectRatioModes>

The letterBox fixes the streching, but then I have to go back to Fill with 16x9 channels.

I use these settings:

Code:
<TvShape>4x3</TvShape>
  <AspectRatioModes>
    <AspectRatioMode name="4:3" ratio="0,0,1,1" />
    <AspectRatioMode name="4:3 (Top Clipped)" ratio="0,-0.01,1,1" />
    <AspectRatioMode name="16:10" ratio="0,0.09,1,0.91" />
    <AspectRatioMode name="16:9" ratio="0,0.125,1,0.875" />
    <AspectRatioMode name="2.35:1" ratio="0,0.2165,1,0.7835" />
  </AspectRatioModes>

I have deleted the line for auto, as I have had some troubles. Now I have to select F7 to cycle through the choices, but they are few, and do me well...
