Hi-

I did try searching for this, but may have missed it (the search won't let me look for just "F7"). When I'm viewing live TV, especially a program that is 16x9 and thus is letterboxed and pillarboxed on the TV, I've used F7 with great success to fill the screen - it works perfectly on the third setting. However, when I'm watching content recorded by GBPVR, the F7 button seemingly has no effect at all, and I'm stuck watching the double boxed content. Should this work in playback of recorded shows, or is there some limitation that prevents this?

Thanks very much,

Chris

I had deja vu reading your post, thinking you had already asked this question and that I had already answered.... but no, that was someone else. In his case he had changed the keymapping for the aspect ratio button to something else to match what his remote was sending (Ctrl-a I think), but had apparently only changed the keymapping in the one file for the LiveTVPreviewPlayer. I can only presume that advice solved his problem, he never posted back.

But now you appear to have the exact same problem, with no indication that you've modified the keymappings anywhere (or have you?). Aside from that, I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to change Aspect Ratios during playback... there's no limitation I've ever run into or heard of, and I use F7 multiple times a day, every day, in LiveTV, recording playback, video playback, & DVD's.

Anyone else?

It must have just been something up with my first couple recordings. Not sure what the heck was happening, but it worked just fine last night when watching a recording of Castle. Ahh well. Sorry, false alarm!
