Hi all,
I've been running GBPVR for several years now problem free(!!) using a single Hauppauge PVR-350. I've just tried adding an extra card and am looking for some advice on a problem I have.
In my existing setup I have my PC (with no keyboard/monitor) connected straight into a TV using the TV out on the PVR-350. I use a programmable Sony IR remote control to drive the standard IR receiver that came with the PVR-350 and let GBPVR do the direct channel changes on the tuner card for recording purposes.
Ok, thats all great and has worked well for years.
What I've tried to do is add a Hauppauge HVR-3000 (DVB-T/DVB-S/Analogue) to this PC whilst keeping the PVR-350. The HVR-3000 has no TV-out so I intended to use it for recording purposes only on DVB-T and DVB-S and then use the existing PVR-350 for playback direct to the TV.
My problem is that when installing the drivers for the HVR-3000 it causes me to get an error when running the IR driver (IR32.exe?) saying it failed to initialise the IR remote hardware due to a conflict. This happens as soon as i install the main hybrid driver for the HVR-3000 card. So I can end up with all drivers installed and the HVR-3000 and PVR-350 fully recognised by the OS in device manager but no working IR to drive the PVR-350.
Is there anyway around this so i can record DVB-T & DVB-S using the HVR-3000, record analogue on the PVR-350 and use the PVR-350 for IR control of GBPVR and playback thru it's TV out?
I'm running XP professional and GBPVR 98.13
Any help/advice much appreciated :-)
