I have the same isseu with this Object error message. Attached are my log files. This is a first time install using 99.5. Please let mne know what information I need to post.
For my part it seem to be connected to show that overlap with a pending recording. I have not had problem with this message after I have avoided to record LiveTV show or show that might overlap after this.

I dont think your problem is related to the issue discussed in the rest of this thread. Looking at your logs, I dont think you'd be able to do any recordings. It doesnt look like the capture device you're trying to use is supported by GB-PVR.
What device is it exactly?
"Object reference not set..." is a pretty generic error, and can be cause by all sorts of different problems, but I can see why the same error message made you assume it was probably the same as the error discussed here.
