Quicktime/youtube plugin??

I know this has probably been asked before, but I wondered if any knew this was possible. I’ve been using Xbox Media Centre for a while for a few things. Have long since transferred all videos from XBOX to PVR. XBMC does a really good job of connecting to internet for youtube and quicktime trailers, I think it uses python scripts. I don’t think there is anything like that for any PVR app, just wondered if anyone knew how this could be done for GBPVR, that would be so cool.

I think ubu is working on a youtube mini-plugin to the ubustream plugin. Check the ubustream subforums, he wrote something about that in one of them today. The quicktime trailers would probably be doable in the ubustream architecture, too... you could post a wish request in one of the ubustream forum threads and see if anyone is up for the challenge.
