blackmyst advisor theme pack skin issue

hey guys can someone help me setup the blackmyst skin in the advisor theme pack? I downloaded and installed it to the gbpvr skins folder and the gbpvr config app does show the skin as a choice but after I select it and load gbpvr nothing happens..is there something I am missing?

The log files are usually a good starting point for skin-related problems. You'll find them in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr and they all end in .log

Try running GBPVR with your chosen skin again and then opening gbpvr.exe.log, i think most of the skin-related messages go in there. If you're in luck you may find an error message that will point you to some element of the skin you are trying to load, which at least will narrow down the problem...

I am using Black Myst and have a question making changes to the skin. The time/date listed on the top of the main menu is cut off. I have been unable to find where in the xml file this is set. Baseskin.xml? Skin.xml?

i dont use that skin myself but i assume it'll be in the "main menu/skin.xml" in the <!--- Plugin Panels ----> section
