Searching Dual/Hybrid TV card for notebook...

I'm looking for a Dual ( or Hybrid) TV card for notebook (so external).

But I didn't see yet the Dual/Hybrid card with MPEG2 hardware
encoder - probably never be because for DIGITAL part it's not needed

So the questions:

(1) if such a card exist?

(2) if not: could I be sure about WDM recording with SoftwareRecorder
for any card (without hardware MPEG2 encoder)?


P.S. I'm interested for one example now:
TERRATEC TV Adapter Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS externe USB.

It means that it doesnt work with the builtin analog support.

It might work for you with SoftwareRecorder plugin, but I wouldnt assume so if I was you, since most people seem to have problems with this plugin. Also, this plugin is not written by me, so not something I can help you with if you have problems.

The support (especially like yours) is a crucial thing there.

But I'm in doubt if there is a external Dual/Hybrid card supported
for both Analog and Digital (natively) in GBPVR (?)

I'm not aware of any external hybrid device that also have the required MPEG2 encoder on the analog side.

Instead of useless search I'll simply buy two cards
(Digital and Analog ).
