I'm using DVI and overscan is pretty bad with no adjustments available so I just learned about the zoom control in the config.xml file. I set both the horizontal and vertical zoom to 0.95 and everything now fits on the screen really nice while watching TV/recordings full screen. But if I hit Home to go to the main menu or any other menu that has the little video inset window, I have a border around the video playing that shows what the last window had. Hard to describe, so I photoshopped the pic below to kinda illustrate what I'm seeing:
You can see the guide surrounding the inset video like I had viewed the guide first, then went back to the main menu and that part of the screen didn't update.
If i set the zoom back to 1.05/1.03 then the video stretches to fill that inset window.
Is there a different setting in config.xml I should use to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
