go ahead and waste your time, it's a worthy experience, only after that you'll be able to decide when it's worth to spend your time on something or not, on top of that you'll get for free a different view on the meaning of "cheap"

At the last the only solution to me is a new TV-card.
Could be the Hauppauge HVR 1300 a good choice ?
What board you advice to me with GBPVR ?

Thank you

PS I prefear Hibryd boards (analog+digital tv)

if you take a look here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...ptureCards
you'll see that hybrid boards are somewhat limited (not possible to record analog&digital at the same time), the only dual analog&digital board with 2 tuners beeing the Lifeview FlyDVB-T Duo. (upsss, your old card is also a lifeview, crappy /non existent support, problems to get it running with GBPVR ...)
if you really need analog&digital, get 2 devices (yes, i know, i'm repeating myself over & over, see post #14 above)

I dont think that'll help you since most likely have different requirements than me. The main cards I use are a Twinhan DVB-C, FireDTV DVB-C, Hauppauge PVR150 and a Twinhan DVB-S.

We dont do DVB-T in New Zealand (yet).
