Nvidia GeForce 6200 w/PVR500

This is from a earlier thread I needed to get a new vidfeo card to send it to my tv. now I have got it installed and works until I launch the program then it freezes my computer and i don't know why?

Sorry, nothing springs to mind.

Do you have a big enough power supply for this card? Some of these newer cards require a fair bit of juice.

Shoot well I check and there is no extra power that needs to goto the card. Everything else is working great maybe I will just play with settings as I am not sure why either.

Ok still not sure changed a bunch of settings and nothing. This only happens when I try to watch live tv or when I try to watch a recorded show from the other card I captured. Not sure why it is doing this now?

What about XVID files?
What are the specs of your PC?

What version Driver's are you using?
I have a 6200 PCI version & a 5200 AGP & I have to use older drivers or my PC locks up.

Try using the 84.56 drivers.
I'm pretty sure those are the ones i'm using.

Hi Nitro I just went and exchanged the video card and changed everything to a new tower/mother board all works except S-Video now. I explained this in my other thread. Sorry shouldn't have started 2 my apologize.
