Interface improvements similar to myHTPC

I've just had a look at myHTPC - the GUI on it is very nice, and it's easier to mention that than try and verbalise the things that could be incorporated (http://www.myhtpc.net).

I know that these are low on the list vs. functionality such as live tv though...

Yep. Especially something like the .my files would be great. My scraper-under-development uses it, and a plug-in I made for the scheduler I use (http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/pvr_o...anner.html, sorry Dutch...) also creates .my files on the fly.

The .my files allow for storage of thumbnails, descriptions, etc. But, I also plan to use them for "expiration dates" (my harvester-under-construction will automatically harvest programs from all available channels, and I want to set expiration dates for news shows, to keep my harddisk relatively clean).

You could create your own file model, but since support for .my is growing (see the excellent http://torsh.stud.hive.no/GetMy/) I would love it if you would allow .my files rightaway.
