Well, I already mentioned this before (In this previous post). And those remarks still stand.

However, I would already be satisfied when on the epg-screen there is a main-menu button, and there are buttons to navigate through the epg (so an arrow to the left and right, and if appropriate to the top and the bottom).

If possible open a program in the epg with a single click instead of a double click.

Sub, is that feasible in the next release? Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a good chance. If you're able to come up with some navigation graphics for showing down the right hand side of the guide, it would help the process along.

You can already click in the lower left to return to the main menu.

Thats good news. I will think of some graphics this weekend. First idea is a square on a point:
It could be even better if the navigation buttons are placed around the epg: the left arrow at the left, the down one at the bottom etc. [edit] Much like the arrow at the bottom of the menu in snowspeeders skin (in this post) [/edit]

The news of the lower left corner is back is great!

Thanks for al the good work.

I added this simple four way navigation arrows on each side of the guide. I'm going to leave these disabled by default (looked too ugly), but if you want to turn them on in the next release - look for the "showNavigation" option in "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\tv guide\skin.xml"

Thanks sub,

I will see how it looks. However, you showed the path in the bleu skin, what if I'm using red sky? Do I have to copy something?

On the other hand, as I said I would think of the graphics over the weekend, and I thought a *very* simple scrollbar would be better and also more versatile: it also indicates where you are in the guide.

The idea is to put one of the following "knobs" on the edge of the guide:
This way you don't need to create complete sliders, like in the windows environment. The line describing the edge of the guide can act as the slider.
The knobs can also be used next to the alphabet and search results in the search TV guide screen (great function BTW).

Thanks anyway. Greetz,
