The tuning string issue is the reason you can't view live tv as well.

My NBC affilliate is on channel 3 (SD) but their digital stations are actually broadcasting on channel 47 so my T: for that channel would be "T:47,3,1" for the main HD feed. Virtual channels is the "3.1" or "3-1" that you see when tuning to an HD channel. Physical channel is the actual channel it is broadcast on. Video and Audio PIDs are the pointers to the actual video and audio streams within the transport stream.

This information should automatically be entered when you do the scan in "Map digital channels to EPG channels" and assign the "found" channels to the EPG. See my pics in this post to see how it should look.

It's pretty rough but has a few screenshots etc that may help to get the 1600 configured. I also recomend that you set up a separate account with zap2it for the ATSC stations.

Yes, I think you've missed the whole 'map digital channels to EPG channels' step which usually scans for the channels for, and automatically creates these tuning requests Whurlston is referring to. See his screenshot at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post185695

ok... i come to a point that able to match the EPG channels.
when i open the "live tv", i got an error message "Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This often an indication that other memory is corrupt."
Any idea?

Ok, that at least looks like forward progress from where you were before.

What video and audio decoder options do you have listed in the playback tab of the config app? Its best not to rely on the 'system default' setting.

is "intervideo nonCSS video" a better option?

I suspect you might need to try adding some other audio/video decoders to you machine to see if the problem goes away. You could look into dscaler as a free option. A lot of HDTV users use the nvidia or cyberlink decoders, but these cost $$$.
