Hi,
I don´t think this is a GBPVR related item but as this forum is so friendly and have so much knowledge I hope someone can help me anyway.
My problem is thatt my gbpvr server wakes up from standby regularly, approx every 30 min it wakes up. Acesses the disk for a while and then goes back to sleep after the set time of 5 min.
I have disabled all auto updates. The server is set to wake-on lan but I don't think anything in my network is sending a magic packet so regularly.
Is there some way I can log or in any other way determine what is causing this.

Regards
Oscar

You could check the system log (in administrative tools in control panel) to see if anything writes logs at those times... I'd also try to disable wake-on-lan for a while to see if that helps, just to rule it out. Check microsoft's disclaimer in the attached image.
I'm not always right

I too had this problem... I found that If I had a "Mapped Drive" set up on my Upstairs PC (to my pvr pc). The Upstairs PC would wake my PVR, every so often. Keeping Network files up to date I guess?
Athlon 64x2 5200+,GigabyteMoBO Nvidia 9600 512, on board Realtek HD audio /3gs ram/500gb record storage, 500gb network video, 500gb video/trans code storage. 1 PVR-150, 1 PVR-1800, 2 Shaw Satellite receivers (one dedicated), one OTA antenna. This dedicated GBPVR PC has a Antec case Blue-ray/HD DVD, windows remote+diNovo mini keyboard.
