I recently purchased a K-World "Plus TV" analog USB stick from Buy.Com. ($18 after rebate, however I'm beginning to find out that buy.com never pays their rebates). Anyway, I bought it to connect to my computer at work so I could watch on it. Unfortunately, we have Windows2000 & the stick requires XP.
Since I already have the tuner, I'd like to connect it to my home PVR computer that already has a Hauppauge PVR150 & MVP for those rare times when I want to record two programs at the same time. I would not use GBPVR to record, but would use the KWorld software and point the video file to my Video Library so I could watch them through GBPVR after manually running Comskip.
Would this work, or would the software create a conflict?
Second question: Has anyone ever received a rebate from Buy.com?
