Case choice? Zalman HD135 or Arisetec HT-400

Hi There,

Ive looked and looked at cases and these are the two that i like the most. Just wondering if anyone has any experience that they would like to share on either?

I do like the Antec case in my sig though!

I brought the Antec 2400 afterr my thermaltake tenor front panel broke; I can say its not a silent case in its default state. I swapped the psu out for a seasonic, and the fans are too be swapped out soon. It's a good case which is quiet but not good enough for me even with the 12cm fans on the lowest settings. The tenor was nearly silent after a few fan controllers were added.

That Arisetec case have some warning about limited space for DVD/RW and video card which can be important if you plan to have some hardware inside that will not fit.

It is the conclusion so you have to go back by use of that drop down menu (look further down on same page to navigate).

In sum I believe both cases have their merits if you plan what you want to put inside them and use good replacement for PSU or/and fans that are delivered with cases. I suggest to use Noctua fan as those have been confirmed by silent PC review to really run silent and still push some air.

CONCLUSIONS

Despite our high expectations, our roundup of carefully selected fans did not produce as many winners as we had hoped. The only fan we can unconditionally recommend is the Noiseblocker XL-1, and even that has tough competition in the Scythe S-Flex and the Noctua that we saw in our last 120mm roundup

There are both 120 mm and 80 mm fan from Noctua.

Seasonic PSU are among the best as for building silent PC and have also been recommended by Silent PC review.
