Enhanced Web Admin (EWA) Build 62 Released

Build 62 of EWA has been released. You can download it here or on the wiki.

This upgrade requires GBPVR 99.12 or higher to work.

Post any issues in the EWA Support Sub-Forum.

This release replaces the Tortuga RSS Library with the open source library RSS.Net. This move greatly reduced the size of the package and I believe RSS generation is now faster.

Package was 1,385k in size. With the new library the package is now only 568k in size.

Are there directions for removing the old files that are no longer needed? Thanks!

I just stopped the GBPVR service, renamed the ./gbpvr/web directory ./gbpvr/old_web and extracted the new EWA's files. Restarted the GBPVR service and it all worked fine first time -- apart from the fact that I still don't have full RSS capability

Yes there are instructions on the wiki. By renaming the old directory and then installing the release GBPVR will sense that there are files missing in the web directory and do a repair install of the web admin thus restoring it to the version that ships with GBPVR....in the best case.....in the worst case you can end up with a mix of EWA releases causing a variety of issues :eek:.....in other words do not simply rename the directory......
