1. When the EPG is loaded then it is possible to click on the EPG screen and get the option to watch or record a particular program. When EPG data is missing then this functionality is lost.
Change GBPVR EPG loading algorithm such that when no EPG data is available (for 1 or more channels) then the EPG grid gets populated with (say) 1 hour shows called "no data available" or similar. This could then be made to allow watching and recording from an empty epg to be possible.
2. The watch/record menu which is shown when a show in the epg is clicked upon already has some logic which modifies its behaviour. E.g the watch button doesnt appear if clicking on a show which is on later or in the past etc.
Expand this behaviour to permit the appearance of the record button and watch button to be also contingent upon a setup string in a config file. Each configured source could be set to be a record only or watch only source such that the watch /record menu does not offer to record a source which is not very good at recording etc. Wouldn't add much overhead (hopefully). Might help out those with lots of capture sources.
10minute fix for a man of your calibre.
