mvp responds faster with 1.0.8

My impression so far is that MVP seems to respond alot faster to my remote control commands with the new version. I guess with all the warnings about it might be slower, I found this to be a pleasant surprise. I have pretty old hardware on my server P4 2000 with 512 mb memory.

I do seem to have lost the ability to skip past songs in the music library though when using a playlist. I use to be able to skip to next song by hitting the skip button. It seems to have no effect now.

Where are you exactly when you press these buttons? It'll only skip tracks if you're not in a place that uses these buttons for something else. For example, if the file list has focus, then it wont skip because these keys are used for page up/down. If you go to the main menu and try, does it work?

Does it matter whether I use the OK button or the play button to start the playlist? Either one seems to start the playlist playing, but guess that might relate to the focus.

No, shouldnt do. Try it from the main menu though.
