I have "use minimal osd checked", when I pause I get a black and blue bar at the bottom with the time, the name of the show and the description (or whatever). The cpu goes up from 0 to 15-20%.

OK. I knew the minimal OSD setting helped by not showing the OSD for other activities, like skipping, changing channels etc, but couldnt remember when it came to pausing (which was why I said "from memory"). At least now he has an explanation of why quite a bit of CPU etc is used while paused and the OSD is visible on the screen.

k.

Are these changes still valid in the 1.0.16 world? I did a search in my skin2 folder and can't find these settings. bu tI am seeing the 5 sec "studder" issue lots of people have described, when running PVRX2 and 1 MVP. I even park the MVP on video or music screen but it doesn't help.

Still exists on my system unless I run PVRX2 at abovenormal. With this set, it works perfectly.
