Martin et al ,

Furthter to my other posts I am having an issue getting StartUp config working as I would like.

MVPMC Dongle called 'dongle.bin' and in GBPVR Dongles directory
Config file called 'dongle.bin.config' with script "mvpmc --startup emulate --emulate 192.168.0.2 &"

Share to Dongle directory created as "MVPMC" with share permissions Everyone and Guest READ. NTFS Permission Everyone and Guest with Read permissions.

This will work if I have Guest account in Active Directory Enabled but for security reasons I want to leave this account disabled and get MVPMC to use a specific account. Post 6 on http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=27888 suggest Guest account does not need to be enabled. However I am struggling to get it working like that. Can anyone advise.

Thanks,
Jon

I addition to Active Directory, have you got Simple File Sharing enabled?

Martin.

I don't believe Simple File Sharing is applicable to Win03 (but I coule be wrong). I create shares and assign both Share and NTFS permissions.

Cheers,
Jon

I'm not sure I can help then. I know that I don't do any testing in the MS domain world, but I can connect to WHS as guest which is 2003 based so the problem would likely be Active Directory and not 2003.

The only option I can think of is to use a tftp server to simply serve the dongle.bin.config. I've tried a few I found on the Internet and they are quite good, but also a bit of overkill.
