EWA locking up recording service

Ever since the latest version of the EWA was released (I always install mine with GBPVR, never separately), accessing it randomly locks the recording service, requiring a reboot. Sub doesn't know what's going on despite his best efforts so I'm trying, here. I prefer the web interface over the actual program for recording list maintenance as it's easier for me to see what's what. Help on this is greatly appreciated - just let me know any logs, etc. needed.
- WinXP Pro, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD, Core2Duo 2.4 GHz, nVidia GeForce 8800GTS, Hauppauge Win-TV PVR 350.

No I haven't but I'm having trouble finding a solution in all those posts. Mind distilling for me?

i decided to reinstall dot net 2 using the repair option rebooted and ewa started working again withoiut crashi8ng the recording service.

Might be worth a try as it only takes a few mins

also mentioned as being a solution in this thead (well to one cause of the crashing anyway)

Hmm. So far, it seems like the .NET 3.0 re-install fixed it...I'll keep testing and see. Thanks, though, gEd! ^^
