I am using one of these cards, and am happy with the quality of recording, however I cannot compare it to a PVR-250 as I have never used one.

The remote works fine. The remote is not natively supported in GBPVR and requires you to run the Pixelview IR software (no drama). You need to do some stuffing around in the registry to set up an IR profile for GBPVR, then assign keystrokes for the remote buttons. No big deal, just takes about 1/2 hour.

The only thing I do not like about it is the remote itself. It's a bit big and "clunky"

GBPVR does not recognise the FM tuner on the card yet.
It is based on the (becomming) common Blackbird design so support will come.

Other have mentioned the Avermedia M150 which I believe is very similar in design.

In all I'll give it 4/5..... [Image: laugh.gif]

Oh I might order one of these to set up a dual tuner to go with my pvr 250 if you say it works fine with gbpvr. On another unrelated bit of info I did see the pvr 350 for £69.99 in pc world but they didn't have any in stock and I'm not sure if this was a special offer as the pvr 250 is listed as £129.00 for them.

BigTed,

Could you post a copy a working Graphedit graph for me? I'm having a lot of problems getting it to work correctly.
Did you get any updated drivers from prolink?

Regards
Colin

No I did not update the drivers, just the ones off the CD.

I had a huge problem trying to get GBPVR working on my main
workstation, probably because it is polluted with a huge amount of
video decoder filters and I would not be suprised if my system default
is some really wierd setup.

I only had sucess when I started with a fresh install of XP Pro on a new box.
I also had problems with the latest Nvidia drivers for my GeForce2MX
that I am using for video.

All my problems were all around getting a picture in live TV.

What exactly is your issue??

I'll try and organise a graph

Steve
