Which capture card?

Hey I am just about to start my PVR project, and I want to know if I am making the right choice on my capture card.

I was looking at the Hauppauge wintv nova t500.

Is this a good call? Can I record 2 channels at once? Any alternative suggestions?

It's what I use and can certainly record from both tuners at once.

I did have some problems coming out of S3 standby, but it seems they were down to the motherboard. I currently have some problems with the timebase from ITV that causes oddities with moving forwards and backwards in the recording, but that can't really be the tuner board, more the software multiplexer that I'm still trying to find the best one.

If I was buying again, I'd get another.
