SG1 in my opinion took a darn fine movie & made it into an even better series.

Heck, Even my wife watched it.

You do know they're making at least 2 tv movies of SG1 and one is supposed to finish the Ori story for good.

Sweet.
At first I was concerned because Richard Dean Anderson left.
But then I read he left because he had been on the show for so long & felt like he wasn't spending enough time with his daughter & I decided I was cool with that.

His leaving opened it up for the other characters to start carrying the focus & that to me made the show better.

I thought Atlantis would be a cheap knock-off at first & didn't watch it for most of the first season.
Then I caught a few minutes of an episode late one night & decided it was actually fairly good.
