Dumb Question: Rescanning Channels?

Is there a way to rescan channels? Or is it all based on guide data? I have more channels available to me and some have changed, but updating the EPG does not seem to fix them.

What am I missing?

goto the config menu and select capture devices, then select the one you want to rescan and click edit, then click map channels to epg, then click rescan

It only says 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' and the button is greyed out. It makes sense as this is my analog source, but I don't see the option you are referring to.

if new channels exist, and you have no listing for them, you need to check your EPG source, and see if they have them.
